About Mike Biryla

A Licensed Real Estate Salesperson with eight years of experience in NYC’s vibrant market, Mike Biryla was most recently the top-producing agent for one of the highest-grossing teams at Compass. Previously, Mike catapulted to success as the number one agent at his firm’s Upper West Side office—two years in a row—before expanding into residential sales with Compass. Mike is excited to join The Agency after paying close attention to the firm’s business model, one he believes is rooted in a strong mission and culture. He is on track to have yet another stellar year with $50M in sales.

 

A skilled listener and negotiator with a flair for what he does, Mike specializes in sales and rentals in all Manhattan neighborhoods. Years in the hospitality industry taught him to be extremely detail and customer-oriented with the ability to relate to people from all backgrounds and walks of life.

 

Mike understands how life-changing and stressful buying, selling, or renting a home can be, which is why he goes above and beyond for his clients in every aspect of the process to ensure that the decision is easy and stress is minimized. He makes a point to remember the little things about a client, from their kids’ names to birthdays and anniversaries, because, to him, relationships will continue long after deals are closed.

Mike is a native New Yorker from Long Island and currently resides on the Upper East Side with his wife Carli and two Australian Shepherds, Ani and Bonnie. Outside of real estate, Mike was a longtime competitive Muay Thai boxer, a passion that fuels his desire to push himself to the limit and outperform under pressure.
